Is there a way to search lists for lists on a particular topic, rather than simply by genre?4 votes
Hello, Yes you can search for lists based on those that are Trending, Most Popular and New. Visit read.rifflebooks.com, hover over the Riffle logo in the top left corner, and click Lists from the drop down menu. You will see that you can search by category and keyword as well. Best, Riffle Support

We have implemented this feature. If you click on Profile, then Edit Profile, you will see a ‘Cancel account’ button on the right. Best, Marquina and Riffle Support
I have emailed about this before and the suggested fix was to wait a little longer for the page to load. However, the page actually either makes my browser (Chrome, Firefox, and Safari) stop dead in their tracks and I have to restart the program or it closes it for me.

Hi Tyson, Thank you for emailing about this page. We have sent the issue to our dev team and are working to address the issue.
I found your site, from an author who suggested advertising with you, but I don't see a link for authors...4 votes

Most of the books I've read does not have cover photos or much details (metadata). Is there a way I can edit books, like a librarian at goodreads?3 votes
Thank you for your question. Currently, the fastest way to get a book updated is to report it here: https://discussions.rifflebooks.com/t/riffle-book-records-covers-or-descriptions-needed/1072 You can use this to report any details such as cover image, author, title and book description.
I've read plenty of books that seemed like they would be good, but that I DIDN'T like at all. I feel like just having a book on my Read Books list is a tacit endorsement. I hate to have people think I liked The Resurrectionist by Wrath James Wright, for example, just because I read it. (In fact, I hated it.) Please add a way to indicate you don't recommend a book. Thanks!!3 votes
Hello, We have added star ratings to the book profile pages. If you do not recommend a book, just add a single star to indicate your disappointment. Best, Riffle Support
With a list of books at the bottom of the page ("books read" on a profile page) the tool tip opens with the buttons hidden off page. You can scroll down to the buttons, but when the tooltip loses focus, the bottom of the page snaps back into place, requiring you to repeat the process again. Let me know if you need help with this.3 votes
Hi Steven, I believe a recent code push addressed your issue. Please visit read.rifflebooks.com to check it out. If you continue to experience this issue, please send your browser version and a screenshot to firstname.lastname@example.org Thank you, Marquina and Riffle Support
I want more information and details about using Riffle than just the "tips" pop-up window. Sometimes I look at the pop-up of a book that I have not tagged in any way, but one of the icons appears in red. Why is that? I want more explanation.3 votes
We have updated our Tips and Support. Thank you for your feedback.
I have things I'd like to say about my lists. Why I chose certain books, what books I'm searching for. We're readers and (many of us) writers here. Let us say something. Let us have something to read. If I wanted to just tweet, there's another website I could go to.2 votes
Hello Terrell, We have updated our lists so they now include the include 256 character summary as well as 400 word detailed description. Best, Marquina and Riffle Support
After having entered over 500 books in Goodreads, I'd hate to have to do it again. Is there a way for me to import my Goodreads books to Riffle? Thanks.2 votes
This evening we pushed an update to Riffle so that your goodreads Reviews and your ‘Read’ and ‘Interested In’ lists can be easily imported.
1. Export your .csv data from goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/review/import/ and clicking the text near the upper right corner of the page that ways ‘export to a csv file’.
2. Login to Riffle
3. Click on your profile image
4. Click on the Settings tab in the middle of the page
5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see the Goodreads History Import
6. Click ‘Choose File’ and select your goodreads .csv file
You are one of the first hundred people to learn about this new feature. We are releasing it to you first before sharing with the general public.
Let people suggest fixes for particular books in your database. Like fixing the title and author of 'Lythande a' by 'Bradley Marion'. It's Lythande by Marion Zimmer Bradley.2 votes

I think it would be great if lists could be more interactive, by allowing users to comment on lists. I see a plan for users being able to recommend additions to lists, but it would be nice if we could engage more with Riffle members through the use of comments on Lists.2 votes
We are excited to announce we have added the ability to comment on lists. Head over to a favorite list now, scroll down to the bottom and click ‘Start Discussion’ or ‘Continue Discussion’ to leave a comment!
There are books I would like to put on my lists that aren't turning up in my searches. Sadness! Especially when I'm trying to keep track of what I'd like to read -- does it have to be in print?2 votes
Hello, We recently updated our search algorithm. You should be able to find most titles. Please visit read.rifflebooks.com. If you continue to have difficulty, please email us the title and ISBN. Thank you for your patience as we continue to update our database and improve search.
It takes so long for the search to load, and then I don't know how long the results last, because I tend to look at other sites while waiting for it to load.
And then for lists or questions, I wish there's an option to select multiple books, like I'm going to put the books of a series. I hate typing things over and over. If only there was a function to pick multiple books, like press Ctrl and click.
Thank you!2 votes

I wanted to leave my review of Theodora which released today. It is by Christina McKnight an a very well written book.
I could only locate her Christmas Novella, "A Kiss at Christmastide" on your site.
Why aren't her other books listed?1 vote
I've tried several times and it hasn't worked?1 vote

Hello Lindsay, Your book has been added to our database: http://read.rifflebooks.com/books/123484 – We recently redid our search algorithm. Thank you for letting us know about your book. Warm Regards, Marquina and Riffle Support
clicking TWEET button opens pop-up AND changes the Chrome-page to Twitter, losing my place on Riffle. No-Like.
It only needs the pop-up for twitter, not changing the main page.1 vote
